YiLan Taiwan – A great place to enjoy the nature

Thanks to my brother. He took me to the wonderful place in YiLan Taiwan. While I am traveling in Taiwan for Chinese New Year, he is very kindly took me to the mountain. The forest in YiLan is very beautiful.

The air is breath taking. It’s so fresh that you can smell the pine tree. There is no doubt that breath the fresh air makes me happy. The only thing that is not perfect is a missing person. I wish my wife were here with me to enjoy the raining afternoon. It is very uncommon to see the rain like this in the hot sunny Arizona.

The forest in YiLan is very old. There are over 20 very old trees in the forest. Those trees are named after some famous ancient people in the Chinese history book. Based on the age of the tree, the names are different. It also shows the personality of the famous people. It’s a great trip that I don’t have much to say. I was so enjoy the fresh air in the forest.

First of all, the above picture shows the formal tallest building in the world. The Taipei 101 was the world tallest building. You can see this building from the mountain on the edge of the city. I am glad that I was on the top of the building while it is still the tallest one in the world.

If you did not read my previous post “One tree at a time – Move on to the next journey“, you probably did not know that I am currently in Taiwan. I am back to my home town and spend sometime with families. It’s a great feeling to be home. It allows me to refresh my memory and look back what I have been through for the past 40 years.

If you read my previous post at “Do you know Terence Chang – 10 things you don’t know about him“, you know that I was not even a business man. Now I am starting my new online business and want to fulfill my dream to travel around the world. I told myself that changes are necessary if you want to make some progress. To find my source of success, I decided to go back to where I started.

I got suggestions from few other great bloggers that encourage me to make changes to my blog. Those are very good suggestions. I need to re-think my goal of doing blog for personal. Do I need to make my blog a place for motivation or just a place for people to know Terence Chang.

Backpack Journey 2007 – Transfer flight in Taiwan

Here I am! After 13 hours flight from LA to Taipei, I am sitting in front of the free Internet store and type this blog. I will fly to Hong Kong in just about two and half hours. The funny thing is that I use Yahoo Messenger to call my brother in Taiwan. It’s actually connect to the Yahoo voice server in the US and calling to Taiwan from there. So the voice delays, but OK.

We took the EVA flight from LA to Taipei. I was not sleep very well, because I can’t even finish all new release movies on the flight. I was four movies in 12.5 hours. Had two meals. Many cups of water and many chocolate cookies. Not a bad flight. The new 777-300 airplane is very comfortable and roomy. I think I will recommend you to take EVA airline. If you ever flight between Taiwan and other countries.

I will keep you all updated when even I have chance.
