If you watch Alexa Traffic Ranking closely like I do, you probably notice that the traffic ranking was not updated for few days. Today, Alexa has made significant changes to their traffic ranking system. They claim that the ranking system will be more accurate by collecting more data from multiple sources from all over the world.

Alexa Traffic Ranking has been used by many bloggers, web sites and pay per click advertiser to determine the amount of traffic a web site is getting. They will them decide the value of the web site. I have post many articles about Alexa Traffic Ranking and StumbleUpOn. I was using both to gain a lot of attention on the Internet. Now the traffic ranking world is changing.

Will the Alexa Traffic ranking kill StumbleUpOn?

Even since I re-start my Blah Blah Blog, I decided to give it a boost hand. I have researched on many ways to increase my web site traffic since June 1st, 2007. I have also post many traffic booster related posts. Many of them actually brought in more traffic to my site. Some of them are still at #1 position in Google search result and above DoshDosh’s famous post. I was surprised.

So how do I do with my Alexa Traffic Ranking now? Is that enough or not enough?

Since you come to this page, I assume that you are one of us. Stumbler!. And I believe that you are curious about building traffic to your web site or blog. Recently, I have been getting huge traffic from stumbleUpOn. Thanks to all stumbleUpOn friends. With my additional efforts to increase my Alexa traffic ranking, I have been doing great on my personal blog.

You may have seen many blogs or web sites telling you how to build traffic to your sites or blog pages. Do you wonder why you still not getting the traffic you expect after following all those steps? I do! I get some huge traffic on some of the pages people stumbled, but not all my pages. Are those web sites or blogs telling you the truth?

Just visited Search Engine Marketing : Darin Carter’s blog and find the new train of page ranking booster with BlogLine. It will be interesting to see how it will boost the page ranking in short of period time. I believe it will first boost your readership, traffic, alexa traffic ranking, and the Google page ranking the last. For the past few weeks, I have received a lot of traffic from StumbleUpOn.com, You can see my profile at http://terencechang.stumbleupon.com/. I also provided a small bookmark Javascript tool for people who don’t have StumpleUpOn toolbar installed for any reasons. It’s a very small shortcut that you can drag to your FireFox browser bookmark toolbar folder or save to your IE favorite links. You can just one click on the shortcut to see if any page is stumbled. Just today, I received a question from a new StumbleUpOn friend Witchywife, who happened to be a very good cooker. (please add her as your friend). You can find her delicious web site at Janet is Hungry. She asked me if there is a way to stumble a page without StumbleUpOn tool bar installed on her company computers. Absolute yes. However, it will just be not as pretty as toolbar installed. How can I do that with one click?

[UPDATE 2007-07-18] In the past few weeks, I have been manipulate my Alexa Traffic Ranking with StumbleUpOn. My Alexa Traffic Ranking has since jumped to 207,742. You can read my newest update on Boost Alexa traffic ranking - Enough or not enough.

Since I started my new blog on June 1st. I post Increase page ranking with DIY marketing strategies on my site. I have continued researching, testing and manipulating Alexa Traffic Ranking. On June 11, I updated the Alexa traffic ranking status on Increase Alexa traffic ranking by 5 million points in 10 days - Just Stumble!. My Alexa traffic ranking went from 5.8 million points to 1.7 million points. That was interesting. I start believing that manipulating Alexa traffic rankings is as easy as social with friends and strangers online. Does it really work?

Now, it’s June 20th. Have I made any progress since June 11th? What is my current Alexa traffic ranking?
