Weekend Confession – New Year + Same Old Goals = New Action Plan

Friday, January 1st, 2010

First of all, it’s been a while since my last post with a blog post header image. I took this shot in Flagstaff Arizona. It was a beautiful snow day. I had good time with wife in the mountain for two days. Now it’s new year 2010. It’s time to get back to work, so I can enjoy a new vacation next time.

On Dec 11th, 2009, I post my new direction Trade for a better future. While I was in the mountain enjoying white snow, good things start happening. It’s already a good start of 2010.

Weekend Confession – Plenty of opportunities

Saturday, December 19th, 2009

In the past few days, there are few very exciting news to me. First of all, I am a big fan of Yelp.com, which is the number 1 local business review site. Recent news shows Google is thinking to acquire Yelp.com for $500 million dollars. Google is on their way to become the #1 source of everything local.

The second thing that excites me is the success of Groupon, which is very success in less than a year. Groupon is a web site that offer great daily deals in many cities. It’s all about group buying power locally.

So what does those news mean to me? What am I so exciting about?

Weekend Confession – Life is good and journey continues

Monday, December 7th, 2009

It’s been a while since my last post on this blog. In the past months, I have been working very hard on the project. It’s been a great learning experience in my life. Some stuff works, and some don’t.

I have lost some confidence on some project I am working and also gain on other projects. Only time will tell if I made good or wrong decision.

Weekend Confession – Be honest and don’t be too naive!

Sunday, August 23rd, 2009

Can’t believe time goes by so fast. It’s about time to confess again. My weekend confession becomes my only motivation to post on this blog. I don’t really have motivation to post technology stuff on this blog any more. It’s my little place to get something out of my chest, so I can move on to next step.

In the past week, I got a lot of things done. Most importantly, I have moved forward on my project. I am so glad that wife will come home next week after a month family trip to Hong Kong. I am kind of missing her. I am also glad that I was able to control myself to work even harder in the past week.

My entrepreneur journey has been rough. It’s not easy for me to jump into the business and marketing circle from the logical IT industry without any frustration and disappointments.

Weekend Confession – Crazy week lead me to big excitement

Sunday, August 16th, 2009

Don’t even want to know when was the last time I used blog post header image in my post. It was very time consuming to find image on Flickr and crop them in Photoshop. I think it’s wasting my time. I don’t seem to care if anyone reading my blog any more. This blog is not going make me a million. There is no point to implement this blog or upgrade to newest version. I got more important things to do!

Weekend Confession – Time to learn how to fly after first baby step

Saturday, August 8th, 2009

It’s exactly a year since I had the idea about my latest project. Obviously, I am totally failed on reaching the goals I set one year ago. I don’t even want to go back to dig my unrealistic post out from the blog. Let’s burry it forever.

I am going to face the real challenges and to catch up what I have left behind. I look back and estimate that I probably wasted 4 months on doing something totally not related to the projects. What a shame!

Wife is in Hong Kong for a month. I guess I have lot’s time to get things move forward. Felt a little lonely without wife on my side.

Let me put my emotion aside and make another weekend confession.

There are few life lessons learned in the past 3 years. Most of them are related to the way I am thinking. It’s not necessary to what I have done in the past 3 years.
