It’s time to start a new weekend confession. I felt very funny when I saw the following two photos that my old college roommate posted on FaceBook. It totally brought back my memories about my college life. We had so much great time. I just could not believe that my old buddy posted them on Facebook. I lost the photo a long time ago.

I had a great weekend with a friend from Taiwan. I felt good because I did not spend a lot of time in front of my computer over the weekend. We watched few movies at home and enjoy outdoor activities together. Last week was an intense week, because I spent so much time working on my online stores. I am getting to the point to re-design or to improve the conversion rate on my stores.

Start doing Internet Marketing on my own is not an easy job. In the past few weeks, I bought a great book and start implementing some techniques to enhance my online business. There is a long way to go with it. In some case, it’s quite lonely, but I have to move on. I think there is not much for me to confess about what I did in the past week. It’s like spending too much time on Twitter or Plurk. I will start shorten my Weekend Confession.

Many of my readers probably don’t realize that I started a happiness project a while back in early 2008. The happiness project was created to bring more joy to the world by sharing the happiness and great smiles from all over the world. Although there are many copycat blogs trying to copy my idea, they are not doing as much as I am to bring the joy to the world.

Every smiles photos on the happiest blog are either with creative common license or with permission from the original photographer. I put my personal touch into every single smile post. To make this project moving forward, I social with many friends and strangers. It’s not just a smile blog with copy and pastes. I have put a lot of energy to the blog. It’s finally paying off.

This happy news totally make me a big happy day. The happiest blog in the world is now featured on the happiest news on earth.

I can’t believe the time goes by so fast. I need another weekend confession. Since my last weekend confession about How big is too big? Is my big picture too big? Working on increasing my e-commerce store conversion rate is my top priority. I have spent time review my current status and progress of my online business. I decided not to bother paying huge money to just increase my business profit. Doing Internet Marketing on my own will not just make sure it works for my niche but also increase my knowledge how to replicate that to the next one.

In the past few weeks, gas price went up so much. I am so glad that I am working from home. Don’t need to spend a lot of dollar on my SUV. I started thinking about how I can survive when the economic is slowing down. It’s time to have another weekend confession. Few days ago, I posted a thought about conversion rate, the most important key fact to make profit online. I was working on generate more traffic to my online stores, which I did a good job. I was shocked about the traffic I was getting to my online store, when I promote them on some of the social networking sites. My traffic went up three times higher and the bounce rate went down to as low as 20%. It means 20% visitors stay longer on my online store.

However, most of the traffic came from countries that I don’t do business with. It means that my conversion rate went down dramatically. Was I wrong about what I did? Actually not. I actually see a big picture because of that.

This is a photo of my house before re-paint.

In the past few days while my wife is away to Hong Kong. I decided to pick up the phone and call the painters. My wife and I have thought about to re-paint our 10 years old house for almost a year. We are unable to decide the colors for our house. My lazy ass told me that I should have my wife to make decision on the colors, so she won’t have excuses to complaints.

So I am the man now. We are not the first few houses in my community to re-paint the house. However, we are the last few houses to re-paint the house. I decide to give it my best shot and pick the colors that we both like. At the end, it turns out very good. You can see the following photo for my newly painted house. Now, we can live with that nice color for another 10 years before be the man again. The funny things are that my house has the darkest based color, which turns out very good. It looks like the newest house in the whole community. The other house using lighter base color looks old and faded out. I bet my wife will love the new colors.

This is another weekend confession since last one about “Weekend Confession 6 - Life is short! Just move on!”

First of all, I am fine and nothing to worry about. I would like to thank those who left comments to encourage me move forward. I finally got in touch with my friend in China. He is fine. His is a friend that I have never met in my life. We were just a friend on StumbleUpOn, but I do pray for everyone that I know in my life. I wish everyone well.

Personally, I am a very positive personality, but I am also negative in many ways. I don’t have a lot of patient to wait for things to happen or to be done. So I often do things that I think I can do better than others do. It often comes back and kills my positive mood. Learning how to let people do what they should do and lead them to the direction that I want them to get job done.

Never a better time to be a better self-motivated entrepreneur!

It’s been a while since my last Weekend Confession. A lot of things just seem to come together. There is no doubt that life is very short. For those people who are still alive like me, we will move on in our life.

In the past few weeks, I was very busy. To be honest, I don’t really know what I was busy for. A lot of things happened in the past few weeks. I have done a lot of things in the past few weeks. None of them were making my life easier.
