What have I learned from rich dad?

Last week was a short break week. I did not make huge progress on my projects. However, it was one of the best week in 2010 so far. I read a book that was recommended by other like-minded people. Yup! I read Rich Dad, Poor Dad.

I have heard a lot about Robert Kiyosaki and his books. I also know he was very rich by investing real estate and many other things. That’s exactly I was thinking to do for years, but I thought I was never good at it. So I have not done anything with it in my life. It’s time to do it now.

Travel + Photography = My Dream Life Style

I like to see what people see and see what people don’t see. Travel as a photographer is the life style I always dream of. You don’t have to travel very luxury, but it will be nice to travel anywhere you want without worry about your financial status. I am getting there!

In 2006, my wife and I travel 7 months back-packing in China, Taiwan and Hong Kong with my Nikon D70S. That was the best time in my life. Taking thousand photos and enjoying the foods make me feel good. Too bad, the 2 years travel plan end up short because of my teeth infection.

The following images are cropped for my blog header image. They will be randomly picked on every page you see on this site. I will be adding more from time to time. I also added some information about the photos. So enjoy and let me know if you like it or not!

Personal branding with WordPress

Have you read my post about Same old guy in the new era? I bet you will agree that my old blog looks like a crap. I have decided to make this blog more personal and less look like Internet affiliate marketer blog.

Personal branding is a new thing to me. Since I am networking with more like minded self-made entrepreneurs, I am often asked by them about my personal image. I don’t have a great way to brand myself. So this blog will plan an important roles.

Anyway, WordPress is my first choice to re-do my blog. In fact, it’s the only choice. Do you like the new blog?

Better personal branding for greater future

Last year on December 7th 2009, I decided to focus on my next move and prepare for the best in 2010. Branding is one of the main goal for 2010. You can read my post about my Next Move – Consulting – Branding – Marketing – Outsourcing – Investing.

I have been asked by some new friends and potential business partners to provide them my newest bio. It got me thinking redesign this blog and to offer better personal brand, which is important to me and my business.

To be honest, I have been struggling for years on where this blog will go. I did make money off this blog, but it makes this blog looks like other affiliate marketer blog. I am not saying affiliate marketing blog is no good. I am saying it is not what I do. It doesn’t really represent me well.

I am re-branding myself for the better future for people who look up me as role model. From the technology stand point, there are some challenges when making big changes like this.
