My last weekend confession was almost two months ago. It was about where I was and where I will be going. Things have changed a little bit here. What has not changed is the same goal to set myself free from the day to day job and become a life style entrepreneur.

I set my goals two years ago to run my own online e-commerce business to support my life style. I have to admit that it is running OK, but it is not generating the expected income. It did pay off all the expenses that I throw into the business operation except my own time. It’s not generating the revenue that I expect two years ago. There are many reasons that I did not reach my milestones.

I can easily blame it on the economy, the suppliers, my poor knowledge about Internet Marketing and many other obstacles. Lessons are learned. That is not the point of this blog post. Now it’s time to set the goals and working on it. Not too long ago, I decided to change to fastlane plan to speed up my progress and to reach the same goals.

I am putting myself into the war!

This is the war that I will fight for it. It’s a personal war that I have to win to prove that my plan is working. It’s like a military event. You prepare, you plan and take the action. Most of all, you have to win the battle by taking action fast. So what are the lessons I have learned in the past two years?

• All ideas are good ideas only if you prove that they are. There are so many ideas out there, but 90% of them will go to the death pool. You can only call an idea a great idea by proving it is. A great idea should not just be a COOL idea. It has to be something that can resolve people’s needs or your own needs. We often say to ourselves “I got an idea …” That is because we have needs. So we come up a plan to fulfill that needs. Otherwise, an idea is just an idea.
• Do what you can do best! I kept asking myself the same questions. What should I do and what can I do to reach my goals? My new fastlane plan is giving myself a chance to put my talent to work and to prove my great idea. So I am taking the action and moving forward fast and nicely.
• Listen and Don’t Listen! We are often listening to what we want to listen. We need to listen to what people say, but not listen to what we expect to hear. In many cases, we get some clues about what problems and issues that people are having, then we find the great ideas to solve their problems. We need to turn that into a cash flow.
• No plan is a perfect plan! I realize that my e-commerce online business was not the best plan of reaching my goals. I have also tried many things from running advertisement on blogs, creating niche sites, and join affiliate program. Don’t get me wrong. They did make some money, but the cash flow stop when I stop doing those things. It’s not the perfect plan at all. So a new plan has born. Yea. It’s not a perfect plan, but you have to take action and turn a non-perfect plan into perfect results.
• Think big! Start Small! Every business starts small. My e-commerce stores did not make me a fortune, but it is slowly picking up. Many big online stores such as Zappos.com, Amazon.com and buy.com all started small. It took those big guy years to become so big. It takes time, but they all think big. So my new fastlane plan is big. Very big. It’s bigger than what I originally expect.
• Take action! Plan is always just a plan. Challenges are always difficult to accomplish. However, without taking action, we are going no where. In the past two years, I came up so many plans, I cycle through all of them and take action on them. I drops some of them and keep those with results.
• Cash Flow! In the past few blog posts and comments. I mentioned cash flow many times. That’s what I learned from the rich people. That’s how they use their money to make more money without a lot of efforts. Keep your cash flow coming in. I have been debt free for years, since I changed the way I spend money. I don’t bet my money on one basket. I put money to low risk investment such as high interest CD account. I reserve money to pay off all credit card payment online time. I took partial of the interest I earned from low risk investment and reinvested them to other higher risk investment. That’s right! My e-commerce stores have not made me a fortune 500 richest people on earth, but I am richer than who I was yesterday.
• Never give up! I have failed many times with a bad plans or practices, but I kept finding new opportunities and plans. I never give up on new things and new challenges.

Again, I can’t fully release the details about it, but I can tell you something about it.

What is the plan? It’s all about helping other people to find what they need and to solve what they are suffering. People are looking for information, while people are providing information. I will just connect the two together. Isn’t that what Google is doing?

What is fastlane plan? The fastlane plan means that you can reach your goals in fairly short time frame. It doesn’t mean it’s an easy plan! It means that you speed up the process to turn your investment into a positive cash flow. It will multiply the speed by spreading the process multiple ways. It means a plan that people will want to be a part of it. It means that the process is driven by people power. It means a plan that has market demanding. It means that you still generate the passive incoming while you are sleeping, on vacation or even away from computer for weeks to years.

Can anyone start their own fastlane plan? Of course! Don’t wait! Can you believe this? 55% of the people I met online and offline, who are working on one or more fastlane ideas, are at age of 28 or younger!

The key characters of fastlane plane.

1. Require a lot of hard working hours. I did not say it’s easy, otherwise, there won’t be so few people succeed.
2. High market demanding
3. High profit margin
4. Less or zero inventory
5. People are willing to be a part of it.
