Change to fast lane in one year

OK. My life have been great! Ever since I quit my job, I have been on and off on different projects. The brutal facts are that none of those projects made me who I dream to be and generate revenue fast enough. I have been reading many success stories about how people make good living on the fast lane to millions.
Recently, I spent quite amount of time talking to people, and learn from them. It’s never too late to change your life by driving on the fast lane. There are few things that you really need to have before you jump into the car and drive on the fast lane.
- Find good idea for people around you - I have been on and off on many things. I tried many different projects here and there. Some of them start making static income, but it’s not big enough to support itself. They are poor decision and investment. I always look for new ideas to make good living. I know everything start small. So I just found a new idea that will help people around me. When I removed myself from the picture, I clearly see what people needs and what I can help to solve their problems. It’s just that simple. The best idea is always about others, but not for yourself.
- Keep good faith - A good faith will keep you moving forward. I suddenly realized that I have done this before. I was not a programmer, but I believe that I can be a good one. Yes. I have done a lot of awesome job in the past. I can duplicate that once again.
- Understand what you will be facing - I got a great idea. I search on the Internet. There are so many big whale out there doing the similar things. How can I beat them as a small fish and to avoid being eaten? I realized that my biggest fear is not about facing those big whale. It’s about facing the fact that I may be failing. I give myself a perfect excuse not to succeed. That’s totally wrong way of thinking.
- Have right attitude - I always have so many wishes. I wish I can travel around the world. I wish to be rich. I wish to be able to help others people living better in their life. I wish a lot. Only few of them are actually happening. Why? I don’t have the right attitude. I was criticized by one of the forum members who is currently very success on his/her fast lane. I was told not to wish. Take action! Without the right attitude, you are not taking action to reach the goals. Just shot up and do it!
- Listen and be positive - No matter who you talk to, you always get different opinions. Do you listen to all of them? Very often, I got negative opinions from people around me. The negative thoughts start circulating in my brain over and over again. That is killing my motivation to continue my works. Now. Driving on the fast lane, you have to keep you thinking positive. Don’t listen to the back seat driver. All they do is to slow you down.
- Be prepare for the worst - When I start something I always want to have a plan B. Prepare for the worst. I often thought that if I can’t make it through, I will have something to backup my rear end. Now I am seeing from a different angel. What’s the worst thing I should prepare for? Ha. It’s nothing else but success. When the success comes, do you really prepare to handle it? Can you take the success to the next level? When we are not success, we have nothing to lose. When we are success, can you keep it? The worst thing is to fall from the heaven.
I have no fear. I have no regret and I am prepared for the worst. I am going to take the action. So here is my goal.
I am going to make US$1M net profit within one year. I will come back to this post in one year from now.

Go for it, Terence! I think I would add that you have to find a project with real potential and then stick with it. I know I am common in the entrepreneurial personality in that I have millions of great ideas but I swap and change too much. You need focus to get to the top.
Look forward to keepign up with your progress.

From the little that I know about you through blogging, I see you as a person who will be able to get there. You seem to be a hard working who once they have set their mind on something will go for it with all they have got.
Good luck - I am looking forward to the future post where you tell us you made it.

Living in the fast lane requires guts and a willingness to
endure. But it certainly is possible. The best armor is
a positive attitude. And as you also say, prepare for what
might happen as best you can.

I quit my job last October, started my own business with an old friend and have never looked back. I guess for some people the only way to work is to work for yourself.

@National Directory Search:
Thank you for stopping by. I was able to make very good money for so many years on my career path. I realized that making good money is not enough. After meeting few really millionaires, I am now going after making big to huge money.
Based on those Millionaires’ definition, good money means 20K/M. Big money means 200K/M. Huge money means $2M/M. It’s entirely up to the persona to set their goals. What’s your goal?

GL Terence, I just hope you will succeed with whatever you are doing, but never forget that you should just aim to be happy. LOL. This comes from someone who just started a few new niche sites to earn the extra bucks for my small fortune
Funny. Well as I said, GOOD LUCK!

Being prepared for success is something that most do not think about. There is thought to be had about if the success will be too much for onesself, and if it would be better to strive for something that would be more fitting.
