What do you see in the above image? Is storm coming or leaving?
This is another weekend confession since last one about “Weekend Confession 6 – Life is short! Just move on!”
First of all, I am fine and nothing to worry about. I would like to thank those who left comments to encourage me move forward. I finally got in touch with my friend in China. He is fine. His is a friend that I have never met in my life. We were just a friend on StumbleUpOn, but I do pray for everyone that I know in my life. I wish everyone well.
Personally, I am a very positive personality, but I am also negative in many ways. I don’t have a lot of patient to wait for things to happen or to be done. So I often do things that I think I can do better than others do. It often comes back and kills my positive mood. Learning how to let people do what they should do and lead them to the direction that I want them to get job done.
Never a better time to be a better self-motivated entrepreneur!
As I said in the last confession post, there won’t be any complaint or negative thoughts from now on. Let’s face the facts and move on regardless what was happening in our journey. In the past few days, I have been working alone as usual and try to make some small changes.
As we all know that gas price is up and economy is going down. Everything is more expensive now. As an online retailer, economy plays great important facts. My online business is getting very slow comparing to the same month last year. It’s not just happening to me. It also happens to all my competitors.
I have seen many business closed because of the slow economy. I am still running my business. Many business owners can’t afford to survive. It’s not because they can’t survive. It’s because they don’t have the desire to survive. I was almost one of them wondering if I should continue to survive and doing the same business or just hung up and close my business.
I did some research on some big online stores. I am so glad that I don’t have too much over head to stock my inventory. Look at those big online stores; they lost multi-million dollars by keeping un-sold goods in their inventory. I don’t have million dollars to lose. So I have no excuse to take down my business.
Positive thinking makes all the difference.
It’s the best time to challenge myself to survive the bad economy. It’s also the best time to prove that I am capable to move on and become the success entrepreneur. Yesterday, I met few IT nerds in the local restaurant. There are some small business owners who have been struggle for 10 years on their own business. They are still running their business, even they are not as success as they expect. I have only run my business for less than two years. What do I have to complaint about? I knock on my head and say to myself. “What a dumb ass I am!”
Last week was not a present week. Many things have upset me, but they did not take me down. I am still very positive. I am just not very clear where my business is going and how I can accomplish something that I am not very good at. I look at the above image and start thinking what I see from the image. I see the sun coming out from the dark cloud.
What do you see?

The picture doesn’t look like a storm is really going or coming. It just looks like a cloudy night to me!
I have to agree with you that positive thinking DOES make all of the difference.. As corny as it may sound, if you believe it, you can achieve it! : ]
@Jenna:
You got me. I could not find a better photo for that post. Thank you for stopping by!
I am one of those people to whom the glass is always half full never half empty, an inveterate optimist! So in that picture, the storm is dissipating, not gathering.
@Recliners:
Thanks! I see the same thing. Thank you for coming back!
