Are you feeling down or don’t know where you are heading to on your own entrepreneur journey? Trust me! You are not alone. Few days ago, I did a self-review in the blog post at Review your entrepreneur journey from 13000 feet. That is a second part of my other post at Are you ready to take off or to land? Be the pilot of your business plane! You can read them and come back to this post.

Yesterday, I had the best conversation in the past 3 months with a stranger on the other side of the earth – Sydney Australia. A stranger that I have never known in my life until few days ago was chatting with me online for two hours. Minxt, from the StumbleUpOn, is also a featured blogger smile on the happiest blog in the world.

Giving out your helping hand!

Let me make my conclusion about the conversation first. Minxt gave me the best example of what a successful entrepreneur do to make sure they will succeed in the future. She gave me a lot of motivation, tips and tricks. She also gave me opportunities to do business with her. We all know that social networking for an online business or bloggers are very important. The Twitter Post proofs that we all need to communicate with others better. Taking on challenge and share your experience of open source entrepreneurship is also important. It gives your buddies, friends and followers a ways to duplicate your success in their own ways.

Give as much as you can offer!

So let me summarize the conversation. Minxt (nickname) is a jewelry designer. She is really kind to share her startup experience. She has gone a long way to have her own store in Sydney. She started her jewelry making business from nothing to be able to sell more and more each day. She did everything by herself. She has learned from the mistakes and has found her way out. She is expending her business into wholesales. That’s wonderful!

She even offers me a spare room for me and my wife, if we decide to visit Sydney. Well. That’s more than I can accept from a stranger on the other side of the earth. How nice is she. We were on the Voice chat through Yahoo messenger. She keeps sending me her jewelry photos, which most jewelry designers are afraid of to do. She is willing to give out her design after she knows I may be her competition in the USA. She also encourages me to start my own jewelry brand and design shop. That’s too much information for me in one day.

I am not alone!

Can someone in your industry give you all they know? I doubt. Minxt did win my heart as a true entrepreneur.

The conversation did inspire me a lot. I was not sleep very well last night, because I felt so exciting. Minxt spent over three year and become more success each day. I have just started my online business last year. I have two more years to catch up with her! Look at the bright side. Someone already suffer the pain as a startup business owner and has shown a great chance of success to me. I can do that too with less pain. I have learned something from others. Although someone’s success don’t always works on the other. I just need to find my way out.

Now it’s time to reach out!

I have been thinking all night. Although I don’t think I am as success as other entrepreneur, but I did have something good to offer. Why not the same things like Minxt do did to me? I can also inspire many other people with my own experience. So I dig my bookmark and join the following two event network. Upcoming and MeetUp!

I am amazed that how many people want to own their own business and become an entrepreneur. Many of them are not even as good as I am in the IT. So there is chance that I can make connection with local people. It’s time to combine the power of online social network and local network.

If you are still uncertain if you are making a right choice to start your own entrepreneur journey, please do yourself a favor. Join the local meetup group. You will be surprised that how many mini you are on the same path.

Look at the bright side. You are not alone at all.

sharing, paying it forward and reaching out are only a few of the extraordinary gifts the internets gives us, but they are probably the most powerful ones, once you understand the true meaning in them.

The more you learn, the more you will come across magnificent people who are so willing to share their own knowledge and support, and you Terence, are among those magnificent people.

Have a great weekend, looking forward to your next post!

Well Great Tarrance, you are a very having mutual understanding at both the parties “Buyer or Seller” lead the business, that you have and might be Minxt also did have.
Before starting any relationship you need to know the person first because there are so many online fraud cases are reported. Still trust and understanding wins heart, that you both have got.
    Nice one post.

  8. Minxt says:

James, you are right, there are many online fraud everywhere. In my case, I am always the buyer and I have bought many stuff on Ebay without meeting the seller before setting up my shop in Sydney. So far, I am happy with the stuff I bought, they were correctly described and never been cheated before. I am also a seller, wholesaler in my business. I know the rules and I know my products & lastly, I only deal with honest, reliable and proper business. In business, you must learn how to trust someone even he is half way round the globe.
