I am just about to leave my job to go travelling, and hope to be doing a lot of contemplation of my life whilst I am away/sitting on areoplanes. There is definitely something really inspirational about thinking about your life from a dissociated point of view – gives you some real clarity into what is important and where things are going.

At the moment I am reading Reposition Yourself (Living Life Without Limits) by T.D. Jakes. It touches a lot about re-evaluating your life by looking at where you have come from and where you are going and what you need to get there. You mentioned something about having wasted time. The way I (now) see it is that there is no such thing as a waste in time if you use all of those life events to your advantage. Life is about trial and error and you will stumble and fall now and then. The main thing is to know where you want to get to and keeping at that goal if it something you really want to do and worth it.

I am right now surrounded by what looks like defeated souls who are ready to give up despite my cheerful(!) company and communicating with you gives me a high!

Any number of times Terence. I know the feeling and can empathize with you. From what little that I have seen so far of you, I have no doubts that you will reach all your goals. As the Brits say, you have got a square head on your shoulders. Another thing, you have not wasted any time. You have learned. That is a great achievement.

Even though I haven’t done this evaluation at 13000 feet. I know when flying you can get time for a bit of soul searching or personal evaluation especially on those long haul flights.

You are right Terrance, you surely need that clear map of what you want to achieve in life. You will see all the pieces getting into place. Whether it’s that easy, not so sure
