Oh! Sexy Pink! I can’t really resist the eyes with the pink heart looking straight at me. It turns me on. Oops! It turns my business revenue up! Have you got my attention?
This is another example of using blog post header image to demonstrate the power of image. Picture speaks for itself. I have used this image on my fashion jewelry blog. I meant to spice up my sales a little before the Valentine’s Day.
The question is “Does sexy image drive your business revenue forward?”
Did you get the signal about what the post is going to tell you? Read it at Valentine’s Day Gift Guide - Spice up your romantic night with fashion jewelry. My intention is to attract my reader to click on the links in the post and go to my store to shop. As a reader myself, I see the blog title and the image. My first impression is the PINK color. The content post mentioned PINK few times with two pink CZ pendants. That’s enough PINK in the post.
Does reader click on the link and go to my store to view the items? I am testing it out. In the past few weeks, I have started working on my store conversion rate. I have been successfully boosting my traffic. It’s a good time now to test the conversion rate and increase my store sales.
I will find out that in few days.
Do you buy into the sexy image? Share your thought with me.

Hey Terence,Its good i came acros this post today. This morning I saw a blog on relationships by a Latin girl. the header image was a couple deeply kissing. On my first impression I though the blog would be blatantly on erotic topics or soft porn. SO, i gather having sexy images, might mislead your visitors….

This is a tough one, as it really does depend on what you sell. I think the key is how to wrap ideas of sexuality around any type of promotion that you want to illicit a response. Now, that does not have to be blatant sexual images, it can be in the color scheme, in the words that are used, etc.

@Hersh:
That is funny. I think it’s a human nature. When a man saw a sexy picture, they will think that has something to do with SEX. When a woman sees a sexy picture, they thing they are romantic. It also depends on how sexy the image is. There is a red line between beautiful sexy or porn sexy.
If I were using an image with a flirting eyes, I may turn my blog into a porn site.
@Whole Disk Encryption:
You are right. I don’t see a sexy image has anything to do with your disk encryption services.
However, I would love to see a sexy lady wearing a long leather jacket cover up her naked body. There is a big chained locker belt around her waist. That will be very sexy for selling encryption or security services.
What do you think? Thank you for visiting.

If the image displayed is very nice and unique it is natural that you would click on the link to see what is in stored for you. Of course images are more appealing to the eyes then normal text links. They attract the attention fast.

@Dandruff Cure:
That’s right. Most people are visual persona. They like image more than reading. Reading sometimes is a pain.
