It’s funny that I was reading John Chow‘s make money online blog on Google Reader. I saw a post that caught my attention. I click on the post title. It leads me to a 404 error page. I guess John Chow just accidentally post it and remove it from the site for some reasons.

What is this post all about?

So here you go! The post is about “The Number One Reason for My Internet Success” To give everyone a little taste about the post. I have the same answer that John Chow has. I have list that reason in my previous post “Work hard and play hard – A life long entrepreneur journey for two

I may not be as successful as John Chow in the money making world, but I too have the same answer to the same question. I don’t think you can credit your success to just one person – You! Your success is just your hard working behavior. Without the really force behind your back and support you, your success is just a small sparkle.

I am hoping to see John Chow’s post up again.

What is the number one reason of your success?

    John’s post is back up now Terence. Both posts are great. I notice he attributed a lot of his success to a woman – which is good. And you have shown that balance is important too.

    These are good points. Not having enough balance in my life almost led to my downfall. Relationships have been important to me too. As soon as I ended a bad relationship, I became more successful. And it is so much easier when the people around you support you, as opposed to trying to jeapordise everything you do.

    @CatherineL:

    I guess John was not ready to post it until now. Yeah. A relationship may not always be good to a personal life. We need to find the balance between our private life and the personal achievement.

    I am luck to have one who support my decision. She even gave me some great suggestions and hints that make my life easier.

  3. Though this is very unfashionable now a days, I strongly believe that my success was due to divine intervention. I have asked this question to myself a million times and other than this answer there is no logical explanation. I did have a very supportive wife but I cannot in all honesty say that she motivated me or drove me or anything like that. It was a series of accidents that took me to the top most possible positions in corporate life and enabled me to quit while I was ahead. I am grateful but Terence, I think that you will not like this answer.

    @Dining Tables:

    I did like your answer. Everyone have their own reasons of success. I respect everyone with their own ways to success. To thank our spouse is one way to show our appreciation to the one who spent the rest of time with us. Without their support and understanding, we will just be a success individual. We will not be a success family.

    A series of accidents to put you on top? I am curious how you get so many lucky accidents? ;-)

  5. As I mentioned in my comment, divine providence got me so many accidents! I am very serious. I just happened to be at the right time at the right places with the right qualifications and experience. If those are not accidents influenced by divine intervention, I do not what is!

    Regardless your reason that keep you moving forward. There has to be something better than get drunk. ;-)

    I think people all relies on something keep them moving. As long as it works for you and explain well, it is a good thing.

    Personally I feel success does not come only because of you. Success comes in a package, your environment around you, your family, your support system and of course majority is your hard work. If the working environment near you is good and happy and not tense you can work with a free mind. If people around you are accommodation it gives you a positive atmosphere to work into. Even blessings play and important role in making you sucessful. And with all this when you put your own hard work it shows great results. So hard work is a must but when hard wrok is coupled with the other hings it is a definite key to sucess.

    PS. I doesn’t mean to offend you, but I the Dandruff Cure link doesn’t add up much value to my blog. So I may not approve that in the future.
