Do you have a winning team of your business? Do you cooperate with your team members? Personally, there is no fair competition in the e-commerce world. Forget about the fail game. There is no such thing. In the e-commerce world, it’s up to the stronger team and smarter team to find the ways to win the business game. Just go for it. The bottom line is not to steal or damage other competition’s business. Work on your and be smarter.
Regardless your physical strength and your IQ, you have to work like a team and win the so-called “Un-Fair” game in the e-commerce world. Do NOT let “It’s not fair” become your excuse of failure.
What does the above picture tell you?
Few days ago, I was walking by a place where boys are playing the basketball game after school. I saw a group of girls watching the boy playing game and got exciting. So I asked them if they want to have a contest. The team win the game with highest score are the winner. The loser team will pay for the game to the winning team. It’s kind of game between girls and boys. I told them the rules. As long as they do drag the other team, they can try whatever to win the game. So which team is smarter and winning the game? Make a guess.
As you can see in the picture, there were only three boys trying to throw the ball into the basket. In most of the cases, the balls hit each other. All three boys were trying to do their own play. On the other side, the girl team worked smarter. Two girls basically passed the ball and PUT the ball into the basket, while two girls were passing the balls to the other two. So their score went up so fast.
You might call those girls cheaters. Well. It doesn’t matter. The girl team won the game and the boys had to pay for it. In the business world, you can’t work alone. There is no one man winning team. If you want to win the game in the e-commerce world, you need to build up a winning team and work smarter. Cooperation is very important.
If anyone of the member is trying to become the hero, there will be no hero at the end.
After all, who was actually the biggest winner in this game? I was. I got to watch the show, learned something, had some fun, and that cost me nothing.

That is some insight and a very nice way of demonstrating what you want to convey. In my opinion, the girls were not cheating. They followed the rules as set out by you. Where they scored over the boys is in the way they worked as a team.
I am not yet an e-commerce man, but hope to be soon. I have been a normal business man and a fairly successful one at that. I learnt one thing very early in business. You learn what your competitors are doing to do better than what they are doing well, resisted the temptations to do what they were doing wrong and concentrated on your business to deliver value to your customer, not on anybody else’s business as an obsession. At the same time, I would emphasize, to ignore the competition completely will be very foolish and you should tackle their moves with positive ones of your own. Not anything negative.
Nice post, if your blog or website is getting a lot of visitor then you might consider getting a partner but getting a good and cooperative partner sometimes depends on you and your team member.

Great to know that you are doing well in the business world. Business is something I really like to learn well. You made good points. No one should ever ignore their competitors.

Thank you! I hope my blog is getting more traffic, so people can learn from me. Mind sharing is very important to me as I am going to be a successful man in my life.
Very good example! They don’t really “cheat” unless they break the rules. I think the key here is to be “creative”. In business, creative is what we differentiate from the rest. But I do believe, sometimes especially in business, you need to break the rules to be winner team. What do you think?

That’s right. Creative is very important. Without the creative, you will be just a follower. Sure. Breaking the rules may get you ahead of the game. Just to make sure not to break the law.
It was nice to read the whole article and realize that sometimes by witnessing such small acts we can learn so much. Truly said, There are no excuses for winning, only losers have excuses.

You got that right. Only losers have excuses. Thank your for that!
