VistaPrint + Vertrue – Take away your money from your credit card

vistaprint_log

Just one day after post my weird credit card issues with VistaPrint on Warning – VistaPrint Free Business Card will rip you off, I saw two strangers in my web log. One is from Vertrue, the marketing company who has charges me twice for not signing up their crappy deals. And one from VistaPrint, who released my credit card information to Vertrue and trick me to be charged for nothing.

Obviously, they do care about what people say about them. They search Google and found my post about their problems. I am still dealing with my credit card company and trying to dispute the charges. If you are interested in using VistaPrint as your online printing source. Please do yourself a favor! Read their privacy and security policy.

In addition, we may share the information we collect with other companies with whom we have joint marketing arrangements.

…..

It is also possible that VistaPrint may partner with or purchase another company to continue to do business as a combined entity. In the event that this occurs, it is possible that our customer information may be transferred to the new business entity as one of VistaPrint’s assets. In such an event, we will update this policy to reflect any change in ownership or control of your personal information.

I want to clarify that I was a VERY VERY HAPPY customers of VistaPrint. It’s over!

    Weird, I do the free offer stuff from VistaPrint all the time and have never had anything like that happen.

  2. That really sucks. VistaPrint is digging their own grave.

  3. The same EXACT thing happened to me with Vista Print about a year ago. Not to mention they also signed me up for a $25.00 per month subscription to something. Took almost 3 weeks to get straightened out. And their business cards were crap. Needless to say I don’t use them any more!

    As I said. I was a very happy customer for almost 4 years. I never had problem until recently.

    @MarketingDeviant:

    I thought so. It’s a big deal on the amount of charges, but I lost the confidence to do business with them.

    @A blog about Nothing:

    ha.. That’s interesting. I have not got my charges resolved yet, but I will get my money back for sure.

  5. That’s strange, I’ve used vista print twice now to print business cards for me. I was actually thinking about using them to print me some t-shirts as well. I’ve never had a problem with them. Sorry this happened to you.

    I know. Just be aware not to accept any discount offer that popup after making purchase. Simply close the popup window.
