You might not need to work hard, but you definitely need to work smarter! Motivate yourself by throwing yourself into the life style at least once.

So why has to be Cancun?

Cancun, Mexico is one of the place motivate me to make more money while enjoying my life! It’s has beautiful white sand beach and very nice hotel on the beach! You can see through the ocean from the airplane. It’s like a heaven! There are hotels along the beach! Most of the hotels are owned by American! They really know how to make luxury life style unspeakable! (Click the image to enlarge)

In earlier 2001, I was working as a senior consultant in the IT industry. I worked day and night. I also work for clients located in three different time zones (see my comment about How Many People Do You Know That Get Up at 4:30am on Mark’s mytropicalescape.com blog). I was totally lost in the working environment. I dream to be a success business man and become a millionaire. I want to live in a richer life style. I wished to work under the palm tree on the white sandy beach.

I was working so hard. One day, my office administrator asks me if I am willing to go to Cancun, Mexico as an award of my hard working. It will be all exclusive for me and my wife. It’s a 5 days and four night vacation. I was a little bit hesitate to answers, because I have never heard about Cancun, Mexico and always thought that it’s a poor country with dirty environment.

I quickly checked online about Cancun, Mexico! Holy …. Yes! Yes! Yes! The pictures showing on my computer screen just take my breath away! Few months later in earlier 2002, me and my wife are sitting on the white sand beach and enjoy the drinks and sun! It’s one of my best vacations ever!

I felt so energized! Not to mention all the best foods I have ever had in the hotel and all activities in the ocean! We went to local market and bought some nice colorful cloths. We did see some poor people living so badly around the edge or the town. It makes me feel bad about them. However, it motivates me not to be one of them. I started thinking about how I can get out my day jobs and move on to a smart life to make more money to enjoy the life I always dreamed of.

Cancun, Mexico is also well known as spring break heaven for college students. Many college students went to Cancun, Mexico and get drunk! One place you really need to visit is the place called Coco Bongo. That’s a loud place for you to dance, get drunk and have fun! Believe it or not! I was one of the many people get chance to dance on their bar table!

I was dancing with the company CFO’s wife on the table. That’s wild!

After we came back from Cancun, Mexico, I know I have to make some changes. I have been working hard but smarter! Now I am moving forward once again! So if you are lacking motivation, try throwing yourself into a huge party. Forget about your past and forget about the pain you are suffering! Enjoy it! Once you done it, remember why you did that. Make yourself a cup of cold water! Cool down and rethink how you can do differently to your life. So you can have such fun every day or when ever you want to without worrying about your bank account!

So go to Cancun, Mexico! Amigo!
