Well. You can do it. Just carry your water and some foods. Nothing else. It's a life time experience. I will love to go again in different seasons. It's the #1 mountain. It must be something. Isn't it? Enjoy your trip!

@Lynda:

Thank you for stopping by. Well. You can do it. Just carry your water and some foods. Not sure if I could handle that 9 hour hike. How'd you feel after? Carrying all that water must have been tough and knowing if you got injured, you're screwed. I think that would always be in the back of my mind. Thanks for sharing your adventures and pictures! Aloha :)

Amazing, I’m taking a tour next year and was browsing to see what to expect and stumbled upon your blog. Yellow mountain change climate 4 seasons a day. Spring and Autumn is probably the best time to go. It's not too cold and not too hot. Winter is OK, but you don't want to get lost in the west-sea trail. No one will be able to rescue you for sure.Just make sure that you carry enough water for while day. My wife and I carry 16 bottles of waters and spent 9 hours in the mountain. It was a life time experience. You should do it while you can!

@Sally:

Thank you for stopping by. Yellow mountain change climate 4 seasons a day. It looks dangerous! Many people like me still finished it. We just try to make ourself look much more brave than others. ;-) I really respect those who build the trail. It's amazing.@Stephen:I actually wrote this post for you. I hope to giving you some idea about HuangShan. I am sure you will let me know when you get to it! By the way, not a lot of foreign knows about the West sea trail, because the tour guild won't tell them. You will be one of the few foreigners finished the trail. ;-)@glen:I originally created this personal blog for my travel, photography, and for my families to see what I have been up to. But, until they invent anti-gravity boots or something, I will live vicariously through your experiences there. ;-)

Great pictures.
