Are you MP3 lover? Do you hate the MP3 you downloaded that can only be played on one device?
Just received email from Amazon few days ago. Now, Amazon is going to offer MP3 download like iTune did. Amazon claims that all MP3 are created with 256 kbps for higher quality.
Amazon is taking over digital music industry?
The price is definitely cheaper than iTune. You should just give them a try. If you already have Amazon account, you can go straight to down the music. AmazonMP3.com offers a lot of songs. With more than 2 million songs in their database, you pretty much can find any songs you like.
You can click on the Amazonmp3 banner and start download your favorite music now!

I put up a post about Amazon Associates the other day and think that Amazon MP3 is a pretty good deal. I see them giving iTunes a run for their money with Amazon being DRM-free

I have been with Amazon for years. I use Amazon personally and commercially. I like the technology they use behind their business. Download cheap MP3 seem to be a good business.
with the exception of music techies and people who can define what ‘drm-free’ means, i don’t think amazon is going to spread to joe and jane i-pod owner. for better of worse, apple has made it so easy to download music. itunes opens as soon as you plug in your ipod, the itunes store saves purchased music directly into the purchased folder and boom you’re good to go. i’d be interested to see the numbers and see if and how much amazon has cut into apple and itunes.

I agree with you. I doubt that Amazon will make huge profit on those mp3. However, people seem to buy into other stuff while attracted by those cheap mp3 download.
I think one of the deciding factors here will be the popularity of the Ipod player – your average music lover and non-techie will go out and buy their Ipod, install ITunes and buy from there. It’s a tough market when someone else already has the hardware and software side sewn up, since this gives them a direct channel through which to sell the music as well.

There will be other new gadget better than iPod in the future. I bet Amazon already have plan in their business decision. Soon we will see some great new product out there to compete with Apple.
Thank you for visiting.
Personally, I quit buying via iTunes a while ago, and amazon trying to take over means nothing to me. I hated spending cash for every song i wanted so i did some research >.>
