Blog action day – Let’s protect our environment

Bloggers Unite - Blog Action Day
Few days ago, I decided to join the blog action day to talk about ENVIRONMENT, a very serious topic about our only earth’s health. I believe many bloggers have joint the blog action day. What I really like to do about this day is to encourage my viewers, friends to cut down the usage of paper.

How do we do that?

We all read news paper and magazine sometimes. They are all made with paper which came from the trees. For every magazine you read, there are many tree cut down because of that. More magazine or newspaper we read, more tree will be cut down. In addition, more tissue paper we use, more trees will be cut down too. If we can just read the electronic newspaper and magazine, we will dramatic save more trees. It will be a greener world.

So pick up your phone and call your friends and familiar. Tell them stop subscribing the newspaper and magazine. Ask them to buy a computer, if they really like to read newspaper. Write up an email and send to everyone you know and ask them to stop reading paper book and use less tissue paper.

Let’s do something to protect our earth. We only have one earth.

Here are things we can do to help clean our earth.

  • Stop buying magazine. Read the electronic edition online
  • Stop subscribe to newspaper. Read it online.
  • When you buy things in the store, don’t ask for plastic beg if you can hand carry stuff.
  • If a plastic given to you, reuse this plastic for other means such as pack rubbish…
  • Use rechargeable battery instead of non-recycle type
  • If you have electronic rubbish e.g. used computer, hand phone, etc, donate or resell then to others
  • Don’t dump used non-recycle type battery in common rubbish bin. Collect them and sent them to special collection unit for safe disposal
  • Read e-book. Review & comment on the electronic paper instead of hard copy
  • Use recycle paper for draft works
  • Don’t buy pizza. It use too many paper boxes. It’s not very health too.
  • Write a blog about protecting our environment
  • Make a YouTube video on how you plan to protect our environment
  • Car pool with your coworkers
  • Use clear fuel instead of gas

There are many more things we can do. Just remember do it and share it with your friends and families.

Let’s have a clean earth!

Great tips! I think using recylcing paper for drafts is a great idea. To often are people tossing or shredding paper from drafts and that adds up so quickly.
