Make money online + made in China - It’s your chance to be a billionaire
Made in China, Opportunity, Business October 11th, 2007
Ever since I post the following topics about make money online with made in China products, I have received many emails and comments about the “Made in China” product quality issues. Many of my viewers refuse to buy products made in China.
Are made-in-China products that bad?
Let’s talk about the facts first. The cost to make product in China are cheap. Comparing with the products made in USA, UK, Taiwan and Hong Kong, made-in-China products cost very much less. Now, there are some countries that are catching up in the low labor manufacture world. Soon, you will see other countries making even cheaper products. Will they have better quality?
If you look closely, China is also making changes to their economy and out sources their production line to other third world countries. Why? They try to save cost too. China is trying to take the lead on innovation and creation of high tech products. It’s just like what Taiwan did few decades ago.
20 years ago, you pretty much see “Made in Taiwan” on many high quality products. It means high quality. Ever since China opened their door to western countries, “Made in Taiwan” products are no longer the source. China has taken over. With such huge competition, manufactures often ignore the quality control. If you look at the number of products made in China, you can see there are million products.
Are they all bad? I don’t think so.
If you really want to make money online with made in China products, I will recommend you to deal with the manufacture yourself the first time. You have to find the good quality products yourself to avoid the quality problems. That’s why I traveled to Hong Kong and China for two months.
I have mentioned some know-how tips in the previous posts. You will never trust what the manufacture said about their production line. See if for yourself. Compare, compare and compare. You need to keep looking and find the best deal. It’s sad that you can’t really trust your suppliers.
Can I really make money online with made in China products? Definitely yes!
My suggestion to my viewers is this. It’s never a better chance to sell made in China products on the Internet. Don’t wait! You are just one step closer to be a billionaire!

Idk Terence. I’m a little wary of China and their lead-based paint products they are brining into the US to date. Although I certainly believe there should have been checks and balances put into place on our end to catch it, it still worries me. What do you think about that?

@Stacey:
To be honest, the more I deal with made in China products, the more fear I have. It’s not because that the quality control is not fully in place, which should be done no matter what, but it’s more about the political involvement on importing goods from China. In many cases, I have to deal with US government regulations, even there is nothing wrong with the products. It has something to do with the economic balance between two countries. Setting some ridiculous regulation to prevent importing goods from China makes me angry. You can find some identical products made in the USA with the same quality control and materials without any restrictions or penalties. However, when the manufacture produce the same product in China and marks it as “Made in China”, they have pass a long list of exams.
I admit that many products from China are in poor quality, but its just not from China alone. It will just make my job harder.

So look, China is just like any other country in the world. There are good upstanding companies, and there are crappy ones. The problem usually is that the US importer is trying to cut as many costs as possible and order from the cheapest of the cheap. Of course the stuff will sometimes be poor. Which is exactly why you should examine yourself and compare. Chinese companies know full well how important the US market is to them, so they should do everything possible to make you happy.
I do however, totally agree with the government issues. I have little problem with the Chinese manufactures/products themselves. I only worry about supporting a communist government.

@Justin:
You said it right. Chinese companies know very well how US market can bring them $$$. Like I said in the previous post. Show them your buying power, they will work with you.
I am not so much worry about supporting communist government. I just don’t like some political force involved in free trade business.

@Jamytan:
Well. I think we should boycott those importer who import poor quality goods from China. Not just the products. There are many many high quality products that are made in China. If we boycott the made-in-china products, We will not be able to use the computer to write out blog.
Yes. Chinese knows how to lie to survive like my earlier post. Make money online + made in China - Lie to survive However, there are many liars from other countries as well. Telling a lie is one of the survival skills in our life.

You are entitled to your opinion , of course, but I disagree 101 % on this : “Telling a lie is one of the survival skills in our life.” No, honesty is the survival skill in life.

@Jamytan:
Would you tell your parents a lie to make they feel better, so they don’t worry about you?
Sometimes, a good telling an honest truth will hurt someone you really love. That’s just my experience.
November 11th, 2007 at 9:42 am
Nope, I would not do it. I would piss them off by telling the truth. “Would you tell your parents a lie to make they feel better, so they don’t worry about you?”. Yes, I am a difficult child and stubborn too, still is after 46years, holding my principal. A lot of times my mother would say why don’t you live like everyone else ? I said why should I ? I know nothing better than live a truthful life and God has blessed me with many blessings on the way I live.
Sometimes, a good telling an honest truth will hurt someone you really love. That’s just my experience.”
Just because something had been done thousand years does not mean I have to do like everyone has done.
Yes, human nature is sinful that is why we need Jesus blood to clean our sin. We all lie because of the 1st man and woman, Adam and Eve.
