Make money online + made in China (3) - Left hand and right hand
Made in China, Business September 20th, 2007Continue my Make money online + made in China (2) - Show me the money posts, I have talked about lies and money. In many case, doing business in China will cost you more to get more. The bribing system has existed for thousand years. Especially for dealing with government, you need to know who to talk to and what to give to.
Now it’s time to use your both hand to do business.
In China, doing business requires you to pay attention on the key person. In many case, you need to get government certification or authorization to start you business relationship with some manufactures. In order to get your business deal sealed, you need to shake their right hand while give them some green gifts on the left hand.
I am not saying that bribing is a way to do business in China. However, it’s pretty common facts. Even with private company, the key person has the power to choose who to set deal with. With a little gift, things will be handled differently. Also, it’s very common to get pay back, if you are the person to settle the deal between companies. For example, in order to settle the deal for a manufacture, which has tried very hard to find wholesaler, you help the manufacture find the buyer. Now the deal is done, you (the sales) will get some reward money fro the manufacture. You get the money under the table. It’s illegal to settle deal under table. So if you run into that situation, you need to be very careful.
