Make money online idea - find treasure at your local swap meet

Would you like to make money online? What is your brilliant idea about making money online? I know you will not tell me your idea, but I would like to share some of my findings. Do you blog? Do you have a web site with your own domain? I am not here to talk about make money online with your blog. I can’t really compete with those famous bloggers who are doing blog for living. So what else can you do to make money online?
You can see that my blog don’t have a lot of Ad. I did not have any Ads few weeks ago until my friends encourage me to put up Ad. You can read my post about “Should I monetize my blog? It’s never too late to make money online.” Again, I don’t expect to make a lot of money online with my blog, I don’t really promote it that much. I have other things to do to make more profit.
I am an online business owner. I sell stuff off Internet. We all know that eBay is the world largest auction web site. We also know that you can find some very weird stuff on eBay. Many people I knew are trying to make money online by selling their own things on eBay. I am one of them. However, I was not very success as an eBay seller. I am proud of myself being a power buyer. Shame on myself.
Since I am not good at eBay, I can’t really teach you how to make money online with eBay. I just discover a blog “JennyHow.com: chronicles of a full time eBay seller“, which you can get a lot of expert opinions from. I am learning some tips from the blog. So what will you see here? I am here to share my thoughts and hope to give you some inspiration on how to find the products to sell on eBay or your own online store to make money online.
Yesterday, I took my wife and in-laws to the local Swap Meet in Phoenix Arizona. It’s a huge place that full off small vendors. They sell many many different things. They are very cheap. I saw cloth, t-shirt, hat, handcraft, junk, make-up, lights, furniture, etc. What I saw are the dollar sign. What was I looking for? I was not there for shopping. So the first thing I did was to stand still and watch what people are doing. It was funny. I always went there for shopping. So I was always looking for something to buy. Now I am looking for what people buy. It’s a totally a different view from the 50K feet. I saw people pass by. I saw people stop by. I looked for where the crowd is heading and which vendor has the most of the visitors. I was there for 5 hours and only bought my new sun glasses to replace an older one. I did find something very interesting. I could not believe that those items were sold so cheap in the swap meet, while the same items were sold 10 xs higher in the bigger store to Hotel, restaurant and hospital.
Take my new sun glasses for example. It costs me US$12.00 a piece while it was US$22.00 at Walgreens. They are the identical pair.
I can’t really tell you what products I found to be interesting and have potential to be sold much more expensive online. I can only tell you this. They are all hand-craft related products. Use your imagination and look at those people around you. What are they buying? Swap meet is one of the places, where you can access almost every day and can find the treasure. You only have to spend almost nothing (US$1.00) to enter the door. Before you spend any money on buying your families a thing. Think about what people buy. More importantly, think about whom else will buy it and who will be willing to pay more. You might be able to bring back your families fortune.
After all, you just need to sell in online.

Great post! I thought I’d share that I have a neighbor who makes his living off his Ebay shop. He claims half his stock comes from Chinese imports, half come from local SWAP MEETS. You really are onto something, I’m going to my next one!

Huge profit. Looking for swap meet vendors or people to partner to sell this NEWEST AND COOLEST product on the market today. It’s for people that love to get a nice tan but hate the sun. Go to the website for product demo.
I’m the only manufacturer of this product. Make great money selling this in hot cities at the swap meet. If interested, email me at onenationwidellc@gmail.com
