One Mans Goal – Motivation that makes dream come true

Written by Terence Chang on July 18th, 2007

We all have dream in our life to achieve something. I have dream to travel around the world. My wife and I both quit our job in 2006 and spent 7 months traveled in Hong Kong, China and Taiwan. We have had so much fun enjoying our life. Now, it’s time to get back on track and move on to our next goal. What’s your goal?

What’s “One Mans Goal?” Bryan is one of the friends I met on the BlogCatalog. Why do I blog about him?

First all, I have decided to re-start my blah blah blog, which I stopped 3 years ago. I was so busy working as Chief Architect creating some innovative web based application for top law firms in the world. I have had a good live and have had whatever I want. So what? I am just one of the people working 8 to 5. No. I was working 8 to 10. 14 hours a day sitting in front of computer coding something so wonderful for others. So what? I have dream to travel around the world. Why am I sitting here and put my dream behind? My back pack has been left behind me in the closet for over a year now. It’s time to move on to my next trip.

So what is all about Bryan’s “One mans Goal” web site? Bryan has his goal to make profit on his web site in 365 days. Some people might think that is impossible. If you look around in the blogosphere, you will see many people want to make money on the Internet. Not many of them make the goal. Why is Bryan different? I see him as a motivator. He sets a clear goal and slowly moves forward. I have been watching him for a while. I can see him making the progress.

As I move along on my own dream, I find his blog motivate me as well. A true successful business man is to keep his motivation move forward. Let’s all keep eyes on Bryan’s progress. You may learn something from him.

  1. Thanks for the link love Terence.

It’s a win win… We motivate each other. Keep moving forward and I’ll do the same!

Hi, I’m reading via the Bumpzee US Blogs Community RSS feed. :)

I’m moving myself forward, towards some major goals – such as turning my life around from the rut that I’ve been stuck in. Personally, it’s not about the motivation, it’s about making myself into the best person I can be – which I’m missing out on right now. It’s going to be a long journey, but I am confident that I can do it. I also know that it’s not the best thing to set a major goal out there, with no plan of how to achieve it; little steps are the best way to get things rolling.

Thank you for stopping by. I knew you on BlogCatalog as well. What a small world.

A little step is better than no step. A goal has no size to measure. It can be big and can be small. We all want to be a better person. Life a long journey. It is also really short when we look back in next 20 years.

By reading your blog and conversation on BC, I believe you are already a good person. Just be you!

  5. Excellent review Terrence
