Would you pay US$4.00 for a gallon of milk? I remember the milk price was just US$0.79 way back in 1996. Now the milk price is going up. According to Cost of milk kicked up by demand for ethanol, the milk price will be $4.00/gallon in this summer.
Do you drink milk? People like me drink milk everyday. I made my own latte every morning. I sometimes eat pizza at noon and now I have to pay US$4 for a gallon of milk? OMG! I sometimes wonder if it’s really good thing to produce ethanol, the corn based oil. Now, with the new energy policy, everything is costing more and more.
The cheese price is already going up. Now you will have to pay more when you order the pizza. Do you go to Costco? Have you recently eat their delicious pizza. Where is the cheese? Oh …. You call that a cheese? I could not even smell it. Starbucks is going to increase their price as well.
So what will be the next? Import milk, corn from China? Or should we just get used to drink ethanol?
Now government is pushing the energy policy to mass produce ethanol and alternative oil. will you buy a ethanol car? It actually costs you more money to drive it on the road. It will take few years to recover your cost that pay for extra to buy the ethanol car.
Everything will be different from now on, because we want to save the earth. Do we really save the earth or just make some people even richer?

Hmmm…cost of living increases every year. No choice. Companies wants to earn more.
It cost Singapore dollars $2.50 to buy 1 liter of milk.
Well, 7th July is EARTH DAY.
There’ll be a 24 hours concert all over the world to mark this day. It’s reminder to ppl about Saving the my HOME!

Wow this is redicolous, all cause it costs more money to ship milk cause of gas prices so they decide to raise the milk money, don’t they already have enough $$$

This is pushing up the price of milk all over the world. In NZ we are a major milk producer but it actually costs us more in the shop to buy than it is in the states because you get subsidies and our government refuses to do the same. We actually have a tax on purchasing milk even though it is something the NZ Govt says they are encouraging people to drink milk.
