I am sorry to hear that. I did not expect to see problem like this. I guess that I was lucky that the GS my client are on is with MySQL 4.I guess they just put you on some older GS, which should be easily switch from few click of mouse. Good luck on your hosting. I just spent a day battling their FTP to get WP installed on Shared Server, and when it was finally there, I discovered that they were still using MySQL 3. WP needs 4+, which was released in *2003*. Grid Server was supposed to solve this, but google 'mediatemple joke' and see what you get... Use MT at your own risk.
