I was so surprised by how fast MediaTemple.net staff are doing something out of their tech support. I have just post a blog about my experience with MediaTemple.net web hosting few hours ago. You can read it from here. Experience with MediaTemple.net Grid Server Hosting. Now I have a comment from Arman@MediaTemplet.net, who made some corrections about my statements.
That is fast. I guess they have some sort of Blog watching list with keywords of their company name “Media Temple”. Again, that is also how fast I got the answer when I called them for tech support.
I need to make some corrections. Yes. Now I know MediaTemple.net does provide multiple FTP accounts for add-on domains. I was not fully test out their control panel, which is their own control panel. Also, I miss-taken GS as Grid Server while it should be Grid Services.
For the past few weeks, I am so happy with their server performance. My client is one of the top known brandname companies in art and painting industry. They will eventually move their server to dedicated server. I just hope for the next few months or years, MediaTemple.net can continue to provide awesome service and stable server performance.
I would love to be their reseller since I will recommend their service to anyone who can afford $20+/m to get good hosting package. I will keep good eyes on the performance of MediaTemple.net and post my experience here. If MediaTemple.net staff reads this blog again, they’d better keep their promise and make sure the server is running as it should. Otherwise, a good mouth may become a bad mouth.

LOL!!!! The only reason u aren’t experiencing the ills of 99.9999% of mediatemple’s customers is because nobody visits your blog. As soon as you begin to get more than 3 unique viewers in 2 days you’ll understand.

Yes. I don’t have a lot of people reading my blog, I am not a famous writer. However, my blog is NOT hosted on MediaTemple.net. My blog is hosted on ANHosting.com.
My client site hosted on MT are getting over 10 unqiue users from all over the US. I only see one down time this morning, which they have explained well and was not critical at this point. The site doesn’t have a lot MySQL queries.
I am not here to promote Mediatemple.net. I am their customer. I have very bad experience with other hosting companies. Every single hosting companies are different. Customer will never stop complaining about their providers. I understood that there is possibility to have server down, as long as it’s reasonable and creditable. I can live with it. Or I will have to pay $1000/m to host at Rackspace.com with 101% up-time!
After all, you may not get what your paid for. It’s either more or less. Even Google have down time, but they spent million $$$ to prevent that. So the question is how much you will spend to get what you expect.

PS. Thank you for reading my blog.
hello, are you on mediatemple Grid Service Cluster 2 by any chance ? And if you are, do you have access to the urchin statistics ?
