Travel Photos - YangShuo, China
Photography, Travel March 23rd, 2007 Again, I can resist to watch those photos and dream about to come back again. The weather changed every seasons, so it will be great to come back in spring. So I can enjoy the high water and fog season.
There are two major rivers, one is bigger one is smaller. They all look different. This place is so quiet. You can take the boat service, which will take you to the up side of the town. It’s so beautiful.

Fantastic photos Terence. Just like in the movies. Looks like you are putting that D70s to great use. Nice work.

Nice pictures, I planning a trip to China later this year, and will be visiting YangShuo for sure. Are there English speaking private guides in the area? I don’t want to go on some prearranged trip with hundreds of tourists.

@Mathias:
Thank you! Please do some research before you go to Yang Shuo. There were some changes happened there since the last time I visit. The government and some company take over the river. The local people are not wanting to do services to the tourist. So you might be able to see the most beautiful section of the river. Of course there are some well English spoken people there. There are few rock climbing shops on the West Street, which is owned by American. I bet they will to take you for a nice ride.
Just make sure the best part of the river is opened to public, otherwise, you will wast money and sees nothing.
Good luck to your trip! Enjoy the beauty of China. Keep me post!
